Building upon success – Anton Doneff's Hometown Apartment Communities includes 445 apartment units in Manitowoc County, 726 statewide in 12 locations.
The owner of its parent company, Doneff Properties, Anton Doneff has invested $560,000 to add eight units to Custer Village, at the intersection of Expo Drive and Custer Street, on Manitowoc's west side.
Doneff said he's optimistic about filling the new apartments in 2008 because, "Custer Village has been very successful for us, and is nearly 100 percent occupied."
The "community" has 97 units, with the eight new ones featuring two-car attached garages with two-bedroom units
on the first floor and three-bedroom units on the second floor of the building at 5150 Expo Drive.
